英国留学：考研国家线大涨，现在跑路英国留学还来得及吗？

　　就在刚刚，考研国家线公布了，跟去年比很多专业的国家线都涨了(Compared with last year, many professional national lines have risen)，而且一涨还是两位数起步。卷到这个地步，真是让所有人都麻了……

　　乐观的学生选择调剂或二战，悲观的同学决定放过自己，出国读硕。

　　英国一直以来都是中学生留学的热门目的地，在美国收紧中国学生留学政策后，更是吸引了更多学生申请(After the United States tightened the policy for Chinese students to study abroad, it attracted more students to apply)。

　　现在已经进入三月中旬，申请英国大学还来得及吗?

　　英国大学录取大多遵循先到先得的原则，早申请早拿到offer，在学位有限的情况下，晚申请的同学机会就会相应减少(In the case of limited degrees, the opportunities for students who apply late will be reduced accordingly)。

　　今年参与英国大学申请的人数较多，有些学校的热门专业(如伦敦国王学院KCL的商学院)已经因此提前关闭了中国大陆学生的申请。

　　但大部分学校的申请依然在开放中，理论上来说，这些申请会开放到六月(In theory, these applications will be open until June)。所以现在行动，依然不晚!

　　申请英国留学，主要需要准备以下材料：

　　成绩单

　　毕业证和学位证(已毕业)

　　在读证明(未毕业)

　　推荐信两封

　　个人简历CV

　　个人陈述personal statement

　　推荐信recommendation letter

　　实习/工作证明

　　雅思成绩

　　与香港高校不同，英国大学的申请材料看起来多(There seems to be a lot of application materials for British universities)，但其中的雅思成绩在投递时也可以先不提交。

　　如果目前还没考雅思、或雅思成绩距离院校要求差距较大(If you haven‘t taken IELTS or your IELTS score is far from the requirements of the University,)，可以先不提交成绩，而是等拿到学校的有条件offer后再补。这也就意味着之前没考过雅思的同学，也可以申请。

　　个人陈述PS则是申请英国大学中最有特点的一部分：校方对PS比较看重，要在有限字数内了解学生申请及为何适合本校本专业的原因(We should understand the students‘ application and why it is suitable for our school-based major within a limited number of words)。

　　个别大学还会有更细致的要求，比如要学生写出本校课程会如何为学生未来的职业发展有所助力(For example, how can students write their own courses to help their future career development)。

　　PS不能写好一份直接海投，而要针对每所学校的特点专门撰写文书(PS can‘t write a direct overseas investment, but write a special document according to the characteristics of each school)，对于申请不同专业方向的同学来说，就更是如此。
