　　剑桥大学、牛津大学、帝国理工学院、伦敦大学学院和伦敦政治经济学院，英国“G5超级精英”大学一直是很多学生梦寐以求的殿堂级学府。

　　在这5所名校中，只有剑桥大学承认中国高考成绩申请，且分数要求并不低于清华北大的分数线(Only Cambridge University recognizes China‘s application for college entrance examination scores, and the score requirements are not lower than the score line of Tsinghua University and Peking University)，以至于很多对于英国名校有向往的家长会早早为孩子提前规划好用“A-level”成绩申请英国名校!

　　那什么是A-Level课程呢?难不难?能申请到哪些名校呢?下面小渊为大家详细介绍一下!

　　什么是A-Level?

　　A-Level的英文全称是General Certificate of Education Advanced Level(普通教育高级证书)，但我们通常所说的A-Level主要是指它的课程体系。

　　A-Level课程体系大约共有70多门课程，英国本土或海外的学生只要修完三到四门课程(Students in the UK or overseas only need to complete three to four courses)，考试合格后即可凭成绩申请大学。

　　目前，世界上包括美国、加拿大、英国、澳大利亚、新西兰、德国、法国在内的150多个国家和地区的11,000所大学将A-Level成绩作为入学认可或有条件认可标准。

　　高考难还是Alevel难?

　　与国内高考课程相比，A-level需要学的内容要广泛些，不过知识深度上，要求相对低(A-level needs to learn a wider range of contents, but the depth of knowledge is relatively low)，一般来说，有着国内高一、高二学习经历的学生都能够做出A-level的试题(Students with domestic senior one and senior two learning experience can make A-level questions)，比如说数学、物理、化学、生物。更何况你只要选3-4门课来学习，大可以选择自己擅长的领域。

　　单从从学科难度上来看，A-level没有高考难。而且考核的内容基本上在往年试题找到(And the content of the assessment is basically found in the test questions in previous years)，相对来说，刷题也“有迹可寻”，对于中国孩子来说，从小接受的就是“题海战术”的教育(For Chinese children, what they receive from childhood is the education of “sea tactics“)，取得高分的机会还是很多的。

　　用A-Level就能申请到G5吗?

　　前面已经提到过，国内数理化难度和Alevel数理化难度差不多(The difficulty of mathematics and chemistry in China is similar to that of alevel)，而文科方面把语言学好后也不是很难……因此，一年后总成绩考出三个A甚至有些学科达到A*都是有可能的。

　　那么，英国那些G5名校对Alevel的成绩要求究竟是怎样的呢?

　　一般而言，如果你要申请G5，那Alevel成绩需要达到AAA(Generally speaking, if you want to apply for G5, alevel needs to achieve AAA)，而如果你的科目成绩出现了个把的“B”，那也不用担心，除了G5部分专业可以允许有“B”外(Don‘t worry about that, except that some majors in G5 can be allowed to have “B“)，你也可以试试口碑不错的“小G6”，有部分专业比G5还优秀哦!
