伯明翰大学降低2021年ALevel入学要求

　　今年由于疫情的原因让英国的很多考试都取消了，甚至影响了2021年的考试(Many examinations in Britain have been cancelled, even affecting the examination in 2021)，根据新消息苏格兰地区率先取消2021年Scottish National 5考试(他们将使用新的学校评估系统来评估学员的成绩(以导师评估和课程作业代替)。更有很多英国学校降低了Alevel入学要求(Many British schools have lowered alevel‘s admission requirements)，下面给大家讲讲伯明翰大学降低2021年ALevel入学要求：

　　由于疫情的不断反复，苏格兰地区率先取消2021年Scottish National 5考试(相当于GCSE)，他们将使用新的学校评估系统来评估学员的成绩(以导师评估和课程作业代替)(They will use the new school evaluation system to evaluate students‘ performance)，英格兰地区 GCSE 和 Alevel 考试将推迟3周举行。面对疫情带来的各种影响，今年不仅有学校为此减少了学费，还有学校通过奖励或津贴来吸引学员。

　　对2021年大学录取的影响，由于疫情对各个地区的影响不同，为了减少疫情对学员复习的影响(As the impact of the epidemic on each region is different, in order to reduce the impact of the epidemic on students‘ review)，伯明翰大学率先提出降低2021年入学要求。英国《卫报》也做出了报道。伯明翰大学成为英国降低2021年留学录取要求的高校。

　　The programmes that are not included are Medicine, Dentistry and Dental Hygiene, Nursing and Physiotherapy, where there is external regulation, as well as our Foundation Year and degree apprenticeship programmes.降低入学要求门槛不包括有外部监管的医学、牙科和口腔卫生、护理和理疗课程，也不包括Foundation year预科课程。

　　虽然目前伯明翰大学还是一所宣布降低21年入学门槛的大学，不过这也释放了一个积极的信号(Although Birmingham University is still a university that announced to reduce the 21-year admission threshold, it also released a positive signal)，毕竟伯明翰大学是英国知名的罗素大学集团 (Russell Group university) 高校之一，这一项举措拉好感度满满，迫于明年的招生压力，其他大学会不会也纷纷效仿也未可知。
